Insane Volvo 940 720HP B230 Swedish Drift Car | Juicebox Unboxed #74

Robert has been casually building one of the most insane Volvo 940s in the world for the last few years. Using an original B230 engine, he’s managed to squeeze 720hp out of a fully forged eight-valve single overhead cam lump designed for drifting. We wanted to give Robert his own episode, his build deserves to be seen by others. We also check out some Swedish Volvo Tractors, a vehicle you can drive from 15 years of age on public roads. This one is a very Volvo filled episode.

Robs Yellow Dream Machine

This is Robs Yello Evo V track machine. When took this photo, this there was no interior, no engine, it was just a shell on wheels. That didn’t stop us from rolling it into the sun o get this photo. Hopefully, he turns this into a reality someday!

Remember That Blue Vertex S15?

Sometimes you have a very brief encounter with a car. I’m glad I snapped a few photos of this S15 when I had the chance. This car was quite famous in Ireland back in 2007-2008. Hidden Therapy: Anonymous Sheds

In these uncertain times, it’s hard to know what way things will go in the world. For some of us, getting out to the shed was the best way to switch off, get away from the world. Unfortunately, our “shed” is just a little too far for us to travel to at the moment, and it makes me realise how fortunate we are to have a place like to call our second home.

In these photos, two mates, one of these lads, is unfortunately not with us anymore but it’s this shed that brought this friendship together, a common interest and a place to hang out vent your problems and have the craic.

You might have a similar story to this one. You might be fortunate to have a space like this with your mates. There are sheds and garages identical to this one all over the world. A place where friendships are born and incredible cars get built, and friends keep each other in check. Sheds are cold and damp in the winter, and too hot in the summer!

Regardless of the climate, fantastic stuff comes out of these places, amazing friendships, long-lasting mates and life lessons. For the people that have a space to work on their cars with their mates, let’s not take it for granted once things get back to normal. Give it up for the sheds!

ICE THRILLS – ICE DRIFTING ON A MELTING LAKE

Last year we went to Sweden to film ice drifting on a frozen lake. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite go to plan, the weather heated up, and the lakes started to melt rapidly. This short movie tells the story of how Reuben risked his car, sinking to the bottom of a lake in a race against time to go Ice drifting.
