Things have been getting busy in the real world so updates have been alot slower on the site in the last week and probably continue for a few weeks to come. The level of cars at Dubshed was very surprising to be honest. Most of the cars both inside and outside the sheds were top notch. Even in the picture above you can get a glimpse of just how fantastic the penis on the roof of this Passat was. The attention to detail was superb.
We decided to take the trip up to Dubshed up the North of Ireland. Having missed it the year before I really wanted to make sure to get it up on the site this time around. As I’ve said many times, the Japanese car scene dominates the south of Ireland. There’s nothing wrong with that at all, to each his own but the intentions of making Juicebox in the first place was to get a good mix of decent cars on the website which represent to finer parts of the Irish car culture. Finding a decent VW down the south really is a hard mission. Yes they do exist. But usually their owners aren’t the type of people to have them on show or really bring them around too often to be photographed. Even finding them online is quite the challenge. We ended up seeing so many car’s from the south at the show which left us scratching our heads wondering where they had come from!
Following on from last weeks video which im sure many of you have watched to brush up on whats hot in the “tuning scene”, we’ve managed to track down one of the creations from the talented stylists. This Dodge viper (opel corsa) has all the styling features you could ever look for on a “hot hatch” .

And where better to shoot this N/A monster than in the workshop that famously maintains it.

Today was the launch of D-Mac’s ae86 and the new NFS shift. The car definitely didn’t disappoint when it rolled in after finally being completed just the night before!
I was glad to finally get a chance to cover the Mondello practice, which is held once a month at Mondello Circuit. Each time it had been on so far I couldn’t make it due to some nonsense in hospital but seems how everything was getting better, it was good to get out and start covering again! The day definitely lived up to my expectations. Everybody from all different levels of skill had the chance to hit the track and hone their skills.
