Enjoy this clip of Hideo Itakura in his RA28 Celica, … especially the final entry. It never gets old!
I’ve Just been informed that in aid of the Japan disaster, passenger rides with Martin Ffrench in the Wexican Motorsport Toyota Altezza
will go down at Mondello Park Saturday March 19th 2011.
Another example of why we love the land of the rising sun that much, An ER34 and some RS Watanabe Type R’s. A combination you would never think about working this good. Let’s hope that things don’t get any worse over there.
I’m sure everyone has seen the devastation by now, I just hope that you can say a prayer for everyone whether you believe in a higher power or not. A country that many car enthusiast look to, in terms of cars and inspiration and culture. We can only imagine what the horror of an 8.9 earthquake followed by a tsunami ravaging the east coast line must be like. It looks completely surreal on the T.V.
Please say a prayer for the people of Japan
This is a very interesting build, the car is a 996 shape 911 but has been given some new clothes. The exterior now enjoys a full 997 conversion. Its one of only a handful known in the world and was completed using genuine Porsche parts. The car was built by the Lurgan Legend John Penden from Penden Conceptz in the North of Ireland.
I was told of a small VW meet which was happening close to home so I decided to tag along and see what would show up.
This VW caddy was one of the first on the scene. The Mercedes Flat 15 Slot’s looked awesome under the arches. Funny enough they were hand polished and took over two weeks!
Usually when a car company tries to branch out and build something else for the market, they usually shouldn’t go this way, because Roush builds parts for Ford mustangs Id imagine they thought they could do something amazing for the actual horses this time around.
This EG6 has definitely come along way since the day it was purchased at the Primo dealership in Japan. The car started it life out as a Blue EG6 SIR. Jackie is a serious Honda enthusiast but also grew up in the very creative era of the early millennium. When custom transformations on cars was the norm.
This has to be the meanest looking Mazda MX5/roadster ever. You usually couldnt say that about these cars, even though they can look extremely tasty and handle as if it were on rails, they usually don’t come across as beastly as this.
