Its amazing just how good the older generation of Toyota’s have aged, with everything being so mass produced these days and designed by a team or panel, the older more humble econo cars of the eighties with their simplistic designs for some reason get better with age. Who would have thought a Corolla wagon would have this much of a presence thirty two years later with the addition of a few bits and pieces?

One of the best parts of taking photos for a website like this is the variety of cars that you to feature. I remember seeing this Golf Variant at the Portlaoise meet at the start of 2011, amongst many of the cars that attended the meet this white wagon stuck out like a sore thumb. The owner of this car decided after having one of the nicest mk5’s in the country to go ahead and try something different. His canvas of choice was a 1.9 diesel MK4 Golf variant estate.
Only one snap of this, but one is good enough. Only in Japan would you find this type of epic creation. A KE wagon with a trueno front complete with some funky fender mirror’s.

Check this link to a scrap yard in kildare which has over 3000+ cars that are going to be crushed soon to make way for houses or whatever. Its crazy to see these cars being crushed or even seeing them all again. Growing up nearly all of these cars were driving on the roads well maybe not all these cars but more or less 80% of them. People definitely take them for granted. Maybe not all of these cars were the shit when they came out or were the cool thing to have but in years to come most of these will be classics or mega rare. You can take the honda civic for example like the shuttle or the Corolla estate which are just left they were as common as piss in the 80s but as time goes on and they get crashes and burned out or god knows what when you see one your like holy shit look what it is. The nct and other car deals and scrapping deals took nearly everything off the road that was once around. It happened so gradually that people didn’t really notice it but one look through this scrap yard and you will be like awh shit member that…
