Im trying to catch up super quick, as I’ve mentioned in. a few of these articles, so the photos come out more or less at the same time as the videos as a nice compliment for those who like photos. I’ve been saying a lot less on here as I feel I cover most of it in the Videos on the YouTube channel, and im pretty sure 99% of the people who come here to see these posts are here after watching the video, so ill keep my rambling brief, maybe I should keep the blog posts for getting into more detail on cars if it allows?
Im open to suggestions as to what people want to see on here. I still have a dedicated selection of people who check the blog, so Im adamant about keeping it running as a nice archive for things, too. This visit to Redline almost didn’t happen. Colton missed the email, but he was such a nice guy and gave us the grand tour of his collection. I’ll let these legends speak for themselves in the photos below. If you have any questions, drop me a comment, and I’ll reply. Cheers for looking, as always.
After what would only be an unforgettable night at Daikoku, we rolled the dice and chanced our luck. It was late, we had been kicked out of Daikoku and there was one place left on the list I wanted to tick off before we went home.
This has been a fast year. It seems not so long ago when we covered the Annual Toyota meet in Cork last year. I really enjoyed this meet because you never know what comes out of the wood work. Even the machine we came down in is worthy of a picture, (TRD Camry which you see here). You can also see Flip using his best shammy cloth to clean the flies.
As most of us tend to stay in our circles amongst the scene, a lot of cars never really come out of hiding for us to be exposed to here at Juicebox. This little B series is stunning.
A lot of people made it down regardless of situations that sprang up which either on the day or close to it. Somehow the weather was on our sides which enticed people to make the journey down. I genuinely would not have held the event if there was a monsoon of Irish rain.
It takes the right amount of failures, trial and error, bad timing, putting things off, acquiring knowledge, being inspired by others, horrible late nights and serious man hours to build the right car, finally this beast is coming together. As they would say… We’re getting there…
