Building the weirdest little Nissan K11 March

I realised I never added a little photo dump to sync up with when we fitted the Tommy Kaira kit to the K11; the Calsonic was past the point of no return, so I decided to go all in with this little one I had picked up during the pandemic. We had already fitted a 1.3, becoming the new base for fitting the parts. After searching for years, I picked this kit up in Japan on Yahoo auctions, but I want to delve into a story on that very soon on the channel. For now, enjoy this manic rush to get this thing up to an acceptable standard for LZ fest last year.

A New K11 March to destroy

Here are a few photographs of the New K11 March before it went under the knife. Some are from when I picked it up and threw some Drag wheels on it, which came on the black March, an excellent eighties wheel that showed up locally. Then, when we slammed it on the BC coilovers with the Enkei wheels, these wheels are called Enkei Formula J M18’s and were used on open-wheel race cars in the early nineties. Whats also really cool is that most of the March Cup cars also ran these in the ’90s. It’s a wheel I’ve been chasing for many years, as 13 inches is the magic formula for these cars. The Enkeis are just right. The little lip is fantastic. What’s funny is I always end up almost loving this look just as much as the finished product; these cars look great with very little, and even though we did the Tommy Kaira look, this appeals to me just as much.

HKS Inspired Nismo K11

I am playing catchup on the blog side of things, but since going full-time, I’ve had the time now to try to get all these out; the dream would be to release the content right after the video so it pairs nicely; that is my plan in the future so we will see how that goes.

Anyway, this car is everything I love about the car community; someone took a mundane little nugget because they loved it, threw some incredible, rare parts on it and a really iconic liver and made it into such an exceptional little vehicle—pure creativity.

I’ll let the photos speak for themself here. The car has such a great character, and I love seeking stuff out like this. Ive thrown in a few collaboration images and the night we took the engine out of my little nugget as a bonus. Enjoy the images set.

A Creative K11 Micra

A little shoot we did at 5 am with Enda’s Micra just after he made an insane journey to drop off an engine to shed in the height of winter. He hated that I was throwing him into a video because his car was a mess, but I was keen to shoot this for a long time, and I felt the dirt didn’t detract from the car’s overall presence.

Photos Unboxed : A Slice of Japan at the Juicebox BBQ PT2

Let’s kick things off again with part two of last years BBQ. Like I said in the previous post, we cram as many images as we can into these articles, mainly because the quality of cars that attend the BBQ is truly incredible. We want to show as much of what made it to the event as we can. It’s always a reminder of the thriving Irish car scene.

What The Fuck Wednesday: March Sti… wait what?

Yes, this is as confusing as it looks, but it does look almost look like a livesport spoiler for a k11 march! Someone must have wanted the feel of a subaru in the shell of a march! Or maybe they just couldn’t afford one.
