Somehow I HAVE been there…of all critical parts Audi made the timing gear PLASTIC?? Really?? It meant leaving my Audi Coupe for good on a dusty mountain side in Colorado, then I left the state after driving thousands of miles to get there from NY. That was my first car, exactly 10 years ago now, Tornado Red, gray leather with the trunk spoiler and limited wheels. Most solid car I’ve ever driven with the most addictive five cylinder chorus after an intake and exhaust were fitted…Slow as f*ck though. Miss it every day.
